Tenerife, a volcanic island, is the largest of the Canary Islands. It houses the Natural Park of the Teide, a mountain which with a height of 3,718 meters is the highest point in Spain.
With an average annual temperature of 22ºC, South and North contrast in their climatic characteristics, with the warmer and drier south and more humid north, this leads to dramatic contrasts in scenery.
